There’s where your PRESTO card comes into play.

PRESTO cardholders can save up to 39 per cent on Ride All Day tickets and up to 22 per cent on regularly priced admission on or before Aug. 20 with PRESTO Perks.

Starting Aug. 21, PRESTO cardholders can save up to 31 per cent on Ride All Day tickets and up to 12 per cent on regularly priced admission.

Let’s go to The Ex

The Canadian National Exhibition runs from August 21 to September 7, 2026, at Exhibition Place in Toronto. It’s been an end-of-summer tradition since 1879.

And the best way to get to ‘The Ex’ is by taking the GO Train.

Exhibition GO is just steps from Exhibition Place and with the weekday group and weekend unlimited passes, it’s also to the most economical way to get there.

Plus, with Ontario’s One Fare Program, riders only pay once when travelling between TTC and GO Transit, Brampton Transit, Durham Region Transit, MiWay and York Region Transit. And as always, kids 12 and under ride free on all GO trains and GO buses.

Special rail service for the CNE

We’re increasing train service along the Lakeshore East, Lakeshore West and Stouffville lines to help you go to the CNE!

Here’s some more information about GO train service to get you to and from The Ex.

Lakeshore West

Weekdays

If you are travelling to Union Station

• NEW trips: there will be new trips leaving Exhibition at 10:21 a.m., 1:21 p.m., 2:51 p.m., 4:29 p.m., 5:21 p.m., 5:51 p.m., and 6:43 p.m., heading to Union.
• The 10:24 p.m., Friday only, train departing West Harbour GO will run Monday through Friday.  

If you are travelling from Union Station:

• NEW trip: leaving Union at 9:32 a.m., to Exhibition GO
• NEW trip: 12:17a.m., departure from Union Station, Monday to Thursday only, arriving at Oakville GO at 1:05 a.m.

Weekends

If you are travelling to Union Station:

• NEW trip: 1:21 p.m., train departing Exhibition GO.

If you are travelling from Union Station: 

• NEW trips: there will be trains leaving Union Station at 1:59 p.m., 2:35 p.m., and 2:59 p.m., heading to Exhibition GO.

Lakeshore East

Weekdays

If you are travelling to Union Station:

• NEW trips: there will be trains leaving Whitby GO at 3:31 p.m., 3:58 p.m., and 4:28 p.m., making all stops to Union Station.

If you are travelling from Union Station:

• NEW trips: On Friday only, there will be a train leaving Union Station at 10:35 p.m., making all stops to Whitby GO.
• NEW trips: On Monday to Thursday only, there will be a train leaving Union Station at 11:35 p.m., making all stops to Whitby GO.

Weekends

If you are travelling from Union Station: 

• NEW trip: there will be a train leaving Union Station at 11:35 p.m., making all stops to Whitby GO, arriving at 00:38.

Stouffville

If you are travelling to Union Station on weekdays:

• NEW trip: there will be a train at 4:36 p.m., leaving Unionville GO making all stops to Union Station.

Some train arrival times to Union Station will be adjusted to arrive earlier or later than regularly scheduled. Plan ahead and check schedules at gotransit.com.
