Thorncliffe Park Station
The future Thorncliffe Park Station, located at Thorncliffe Park Drive and Overlea Boulevard, will bring rapid transit to a community that has long relied on buses to get around. Nearly 30 per cent of residents currently use public transit as their primary way of travelling.
The station will improve access to transit for more than 12,800 residents living within walking distance and support nearly 3,000 jobs in the area.
Located adjacent to the future station, the Ontario Line’s operations, maintenance and storage facility will serve as the operational nerve centre of the line where Ontario Line trains will be cleaned, stored and repaired for daily service.
Infrastructure Ontario has also proposed new transit-oriented community for this site, which will bring a vibrant, mixed-use community to the area that will put more housing, jobs and retail space for businesses within easy reach of transit.
